The Fort Worth Motorcycle Riders are organizing a trip to Indianapolis for the inaugural running of the MotoGP at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
We will be purchasing tickets as a club which will allow us to have VIP parking for our bikes, ride a parade lap around the track, and receive a gift package.
Tickets start at $75.50 (extra .50 covers ticketing fee) for General Admission which gets gate admission to the grounds, viewing mounds and any open grandstand on Sept. 12th - Sept. 14th.
Reserved seating tickets can also be purchases as part of the group buy. Check the
IMS web page for pricing on reserved seats.
Group ticket purchases are the same price if you were to buy them individually, the advantage of the Club Buy is the VIP parking, parade lap, and gift.
If you were thinking of going then why not go in with us and get the benefits of a Club Purchase.

THE TICKETS HAVR BEEN PICKED UP!!! My sister picked them up today and I will get them from her next week when I'll be in Indiana.

The mailing date of the tickets has now been pushed back to Aug. 13th. Since I'm already planning on being in Indiana later in Aug. I'm going to have my sister pick up the tickets for us. For those of us that are not in Texas I'll have her mail the tickets to you directly and then I'll pick up the rest when I'm in Aug. and hand them out to every one. Hang on, we're almost there.

The expected mailing of the tickets has been pushed back again. They are now expecting to send the tickets out near the first of August.

I heard back already and have submitted our order for 22 tickets. The tickets will be sent out some time in June and I'll distribute them as soon as I get them.

I've have finally collected all the money for 22 tickets. I've sent an email to my point of contact at IMS and am just waiting to find out what the next step is. I will update this page as I get additional info.

We have our 20!!! I have sent out an email to every one planning to go and will start collecting money. It's still not too late to join us, I can always add additional tickets to the group buy as long as the speedway isn't sold out.

We have also been offered the use of an open trailer capable of holding 10 or 12 bikes and a F350 dually that can carry another 2.

In order to qualify for the Club Ticket purchase we need to buy at least 20 tickets. Currently we have 13 people that said they plan to go, and 8 maybes. No one has actually paid for tickets yet.
Plans have not been finalized yet but we are working on some options of hauling our bikes up rather then riding them.
The idea is to have the bike hauled to Indiana and arrive there Thursday, Sept. 11th. We will then either fly, or drive up and pick up the bikes in order to ride them to the track.
Any one wanting their bike hauled up with the group will chip in to split the cost.
For lodging we will leave that up to the individual. Obviously club members and friends will try to plan something with each other, but that will be up to you.
