Frets on Fire

Some one has created a free game that is very simular to Guitar Hero. You can download the game for free from here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=182199&package_id=211274 It only has 3 or 4 songs but you can download the songs from GH1 and GH2 as well as various other song...

We seem to get "snow" or ice about once a year. We did get 3 inches of "actual" snow in '04 but it was gone by noon.

The Singing Detective??? That has nuts written all over it. lol

Yeah, he was pretty sane in signs, but he did flip out a little in it at times. Ok, so we got 1, maybe 2, out of how many movies? lol

Mel Gibson - Has he ever played a sane character

I was trying to think of a movie where his character wasn't a little crazy and I can't come up with one. Closest I think would be Ransom but even that he went a little crazy at the end of the film.

Smoky and the Bandit question

Has any one seen, and remember, a theater/unedited version of Moky and the Bandit? I was watching a DVD of it and there are parts that I can't figure out if it is edited/dubbed over or if the original film was like that. None of the scenes that are questionable can you see their lips well enough to ...

I decided to go with the more expensive Pingel one. Only having 2 bolts for the Pit Bull one just doesn't seem sound. The pingel one is also easily removable so I can leave the mounting bracket in the truck bed but still remove the actual chock when not in use.

Cool, I like how you can hear him go full throttle when he touches down, just in case he misses the wire. That's have to be one of the hardest things to get use to doing, "Ok, you're coming in for a landing, as soon as you hit the deck you need to go full throttle." :-(

Re: Hello

Does North Texas have a big sportbike community? Yes, there is a pretty good sized Sportbike community. Saddly though the vast majority are more into stunting, rather then the good, fast, and safe riding. Do you guys have more than just one bike night a month? Yes, in the riding season we have a bi...

Wheel Chocks

I'm looking to get a wheel chock to mount in my truck bed. I have two that I'm considering, one from Pit Bull and one from Pingel. The Pit bull one is about half the cost of the Pingel but I question how well it'd mount in the bed of a pickup truck. It only has two bolts, where as the Pingel has 6. ...

The long straights at MSR are about 1/8 mile I think. I know on more then one occasion I passed a litter bike, Terry once, coming around big bend and held them off through rattle snake. I belive Terry passed me back up on the other long straight but I made him work for it. :-x

Now if you wanna kick some 1000cc butt get out on a technical track. Nothing better then smoking a 1000cc while on a little 600. It's even better when you can pass them in a turn and have enough speed that they aren't even able to catch up in the straight.

Mixing Oil grades

I wouldn't do it in my bike or my car but for your average vehicle is there any problems with using different grade oil at the same time. I have a couple of quarts of 10-W30, and a couple of 15-W50, and one of 5-W30. Any danger if I use these at the same time next time I change oil in my truck?

It amazes me that the idiot Highway department thinks sand is going to do any good. IT DOESN'T!!! The only way sand is of any help is if the temp is near freezing AND the sun is shining. The sand absorbs heat from the sun and then melts the ice. They need to foget the damn sand and use salt. I also ...
