Re: KLR Flat tire procedure

Step 1. pull out of the road so you don't impede other vehicles Step 2. unload all the heavy crap Step 3. dig through your stuff and find all the most valuable items Step 4. remove your license plate Step 5. start walking Jesus fucking christ That's all I have to say about KLR tire changing right n...

Re: MSRC April 14/15 (1.7CCW)

Good day, I'd say 7 out of 10. No rain, but the track was cold all morning and only got "warm" by the last two sessions. Crazy crash-- Round Robin, first right hand turn out of the paddock onto pit lane (<5mph) bike goes down! They gave him hell in class. The second session going out exact...

Re: mellow ride, southwest route, sunday april 8

Glad you are ok. I wish it were not part of what we love, but it is. I came close to the edge a few times this morning on the dirt bike. Hope my back is up to speed and to see you in the morning.

Re: Dirt Bike Clutch

Ok, I know this is going to sound like a silly question but this being my first dirt bike I don't know if it might work slightly different than a normal bike. Should the bike roll as easily with the clutch pulled in as it does when in neutral? I would assume it should so I adjusted the clutch lever...

Thread lock, Blue vrs Red!

Obviously one would only use Red on a bolt/nut that would either be catastrophic if it came loose, or perhaps when it’s a bolt/nut that will never be removed or as a really bad joke on a friends lug nuts, or dripped into the key hole of someone that Realy Pissed you off! Probably other reasons to us...

That works for me, I will likely split off and hit the 309 curves between Blum and Hillsburo at some point.

Ya, depends on the week..... she tries to limit me to one dirt bike and one street bike. I still like my CBR, and my happy life....

Re: Moving back home

Be sure to invite some witnesses. Both the S1000rr and the RSV4 are on my short list with the R1 for next future liter bike. I'd let you twist the throttle on it, just be prepared to pony up deductible if you wad it up As far as twisting the throttle, I think the RSV4 has the best stock exhaust not...

Re: 520 conversation from 530 on a liter bike

I honestly have to side with Fixxer. Its not something we are going to notice on the street unless we are actually racing. That said I believe I went to 520 on the BMW but I will have to look to be sure (stupid cold weather state) lol. I say no, simply because while yes there is a pretty good diffe...

520 conversation from 530 on a liter bike

Anyone have any experience with putting a 520 chain and sprocket set on a liter bike??? Are the benefits worth it?

Rick, I think the only thing you missed when you went down on your left side was me watching you go down and then I was in the sand just like that. Memo to me, I have little to no skills for sand riding. Next time I'm at RRT I plan on spending more time riding on the sand and I will probably spend t...
