My can-O-pee folded up like a cheap suit from the wind last track day, we may not have any shade this weekend....

I agree! Fired up the dirt machine to make sure that start button still worked and after one lap around the neighborhood, I was ready for indoor fun. Maybe in late Sept or Oct???

Re: Need a tow ball installed

The crescent wrench might work. Not sure I could get close to the torque specs with it, though. If it is 1 1/2 then I'm sure we could probably over torque it with a pipe over the small end of the box wrench. Love that old school thinking Marty! That NUT wont know what hit'm :SideSplittingLaughter:

Will they continue doing the rider coaching when they reopen? If you run out of chicken strips, I have plenty....

I'm signed up for Sat. July 21. I suspect the RS10's will be trashed by the end of the day with about 2,500 miles on them.

Re: MSRC June 24th(1.3), 25th(1.7)

I can say that RS10’s are the best dry track tire I have ran on the track. I remain concerned on my daily commute regarding rain/wet traction. It may be time for you to invest in some tire mounting tools so you can switch back and forth. Or just get a track bike (again). . I have looked at some tir...

. This is how we would do it back on the farm. I don’t remember having a problem until we wanted to get the ball off!

Re: MSRC June 24th(1.3), 25th(1.7)

A little on the warm side, but I can say that RS10’s are the best dry track tire I have ran on the track. I remain concerned on my daily commute regarding rain/wet traction. I have never ran Pirelli, Metzeler or slicks. If COTA were not the same price as a car payment I would be totally in for that,...

Had a great time at Sport Rider Coaching yesterday. Fast forward to 13:51 where I come into the picture. This was the second session of the day and we were working on no braking exercise. This is the third track day on this motorcycle. If you haven't done a track day with Sport Rider Coaching you a...

Can’t blame you there, it’s going to take one heck of an awesome bike to take the place of an RSV4.

Re: Will Honda disappoint me again?

They already have a V4 superbike. But it is only available in limited quantities and costs $184K. Are they bringing that technology down to earth any time soon? I've seen some speculation, but it seems to boil down to wishful thinking. I haven't seen anything I would consider hard evidence that the...

Will Honda disappoint me again?

I’m “that” guy that grew on the front tank holding on (no helmet) to the small upper bar of a Honda XL dual sport trying not to let my legs touch the hot engine while my dad served up my first adrenaline rushes. Although my first bike was a Kawasaki, I have often purchased Hondas currently I have 3....

MSRC June 24th(1.3), 25th(1.7)

I Just happened to check out the Ridesmart.info web page and was a little surprised to see level 1 for the 1.3 filling up. I signed up for 1.3 level 1 and 1.7 level 2. I imagine at this point that the heat will be quite intense, still, I'm looking forward to it.

Re: R6 smiles

I had a nice 'dual sport' ride today. Not as much off road as I would have liked, but the GS handles high speed corners nicely. :D I have heard that same comment from several GS owners. BTW this morning when I was in triple digits I actually was passed by an R1 he may have been smiling more than I ...

Re: R6 smiles

I don't know about that. I tend to get a smile every time I ride a bike I've not ridden in a while or maybe have never ridden. I think if you were used to the R6 and jumped on the 1K you'd smile when you twisted the throttle. Whenever I go to bike demo events I always find myself grinning at someth...
