Wow, sorry to hear that. Yep, I've done it too...bruised body, bruised bike, bruised ego, but most of all, I was sick for denting my bike. Good news, it's all fixable...just glad you weren't bruised up too much.

At least you have video...if you're going to go through this, you should have video to show all of your friends your manliness.

Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious. I saw you trackside going into Buzzard's neck or at least I thought I saw you. I think they let us do two laps before red flagging the track so I thought everything was OK. Then when they red flagged the course I thought someone crashed out there with you. I got back to the paddock and you didn't show up. Then we all got concerned.

I blame the missing cylinder. Throws the balance all out of wack.

And here I thought it was the extra cylinder.

Yes, there IS an extra cylinder, and they are even aligned correctly.

It's debatable if it's missing one or has an additional one, but one fact remains, it's odd

get it? :))

Said the guy with cylinders stacked behind each other, and poking out sideways.

You all are funny, this forum makes me feel better ;)

Video below. I was exhausted, but was trying to focus on body position, and should have known better to get back out there. Lazy steering at its best. That outside candy stripe wasn't as smooth as I anticipated.

Also, again thank you to Chuck for helping out at the end of the day and for keeping me company while Jeff and Serena graciously drove back to get me home.

yea those candy stripes are not like the GP tracks, if your gonna end up on one your better off standing it up and running off.

Yes, I rode when I was exhausted and shouldn't have most likely.

And every time I watch the GP guys heeled over and on the gas on the candy stripes I cringe. Obviously they are made out of caramel and not candy cane.

Here is another guy who went down a little earlier on little bend. This guy was on an R1 and he was fast. However, the instructor told him he had the bike leaned over too far and that he should be shifting his body more so he could keep the bike more upright. I guess he didn't take the advice to heart. Not a great video of the actual crash, but the best part is where he is standing up before all the parts hit the ground.

Yeah you can kind of see he's crossed up that is some serious lean angle there for the speed he's coming in with.

Dang Terry. Cresson makes that track you're on look like an unimproved 2 lane country road. It's a wonder anyone makes it around upright through a whole track day on that crap surface.

Well, the really big problems were:
- Weeping track - in the slow-mo part at the end, if you watched that far, you can see a very wet spot.
- Dreary, damp, misty type of day (slowed track drying)
- Tires designed for max grip, not wet surface
- Decent lean angle with mis-application of prodigious S3 torque on said damp/weeping surface,
- In summation...basically rider error. I'd love to blame the track, bike and/or tires, but really...

Reviewed my GoPro footage, only recorded the last 2 sessions. My best time was 1:53.99. Oh so slow but I had a great time even though it was hot as f*ck.
