Moderate Ride Sunday April 3rd (be sure to read details)
FWMR Club Ride
Meetup: Sonic on Clifford St. in White Settlement
Kick stands up: 9:45
Ride Leader: Fixxervi6
This will be a Moderate pace ride (with the potential for higher speeds, please read the details). Moderates are great for riders who want a slightly faster pace than beginners but still slow enough to be relaxed and comfortable on any sized bike, with a passenger, or learning to ride with the group. The pace for a moderate ride is at or near posted speed limits. On a Moderate ride the ride leader tries to keep a closer eye on the group and adjust the speeds appropriately.
Please be dressed appropriately: helmet, jacket, gloves, over the ankle shoes and long pants, for a faster pace everyone needs to have zip together gear with proper protection or the ride pace will stay low.
Ride will leave from our normal location however we'll be jumping on a short section of slab and running through civilization, then to some roads with some just OK pavement so speeds in the morning will be down in the moderate range for sure. Lunch is at a new (new to me) location up north, can you say burgers? If the lunch location doesn't work out I have a backup planned but it will cause the lunch to be a late one. After lunch, if everyone is dressed appropriately and feeling comfortable we'll kick the pace up a notch - this particular route has the potential for some high speed sections, I'll be wearing leathers.

Most likely in +1, at least until lunch.
By the way, if anyone wants to scrape a peg without having to actually lean over, Fort Worth Harley Davidson is having a demo truck Friday and Saturday.
