Moderate Ride Sunday April 10th

Post by Dragonfly » Wed Apr 06, 2016 12:44 pm

Subject: MODERATE RIDE- SUNDAY, April 10 @ 9:00am

FWMR Club Ride

Meetup: Sonic Drive-In on Clifford St. in White Settlement
Map/Directions: http://www.fwmr.net/SonicMap.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Kick stands up: 9:00 a.m.
Ride Leader: Dragonfly

This will be a Moderate pace ride. Moderates are great for riders who want a slightly faster pace than beginners but still slow enough to be relaxed and comfortable on any sized bike, with a passenger, or learning to ride with the group. The pace for a moderate ride is at or near posted speed limits. On a Moderate ride the ride leader tries to keep a closer eye on the group and adjust the speeds appropriately.

Please be dressed appropriately: helmet, jacket, gloves, over the ankle shoes and long pants...and tires in good condition. Be gassed up and ready to go please, and if you'd like breakfast as Sonic, please arrive early enough to eat.

I don't have a set route planned. I just want to get out and ride. Please come out and join me if you want to get out and ride too.

I actually need to get Stardog started...on church...but that's an entirely different thread, and maybe an entirely different website. :SideSplittingLaughter:

Of course maybe he's in a better mood now that his hair is short. You know all that pressure of having your hair pulled back into a ponytail like all the that leads to madness. Why do you think woman are crazy?

Luckily there were a couple of Triumphs with tow-ropes. That helps lessen the anxiety.

Kawasaki riders don't have a loved one listed as their ICE contact...they have Miles' Emergency Roadside Service number.

Yea, which is a pretty good service if you ask me
The world needs Miles
Sometimes you gotta draw the line, but that doesn't mean it can't be squiggly-miles
