Re: Moderate Saturday April 23rd
Awesome pics! Great ride today, glad I was able to make it! Very nice to meet all of you! This was the longest ride I've done so far, and I'm sore in places I didn't know could hurt. Never riding with a backpack again.
I did better than I thought I could on some of these back roads, just need to stay of 35. Submitting my claim for the pot hole disaster to TxDOT in the morning, gonna try to make them pay :P
The side mounted camera didn't work so well, footage is great for picture stills, but video is very jumpy.

Re: Moderate Saturday April 23rd
Yes it was a beautiful day and a great ride and route. Thanks to Rick and Jim for the leading & trailing work and routing the ride.
I would have chimed in sooner but I had to hit the ground running with the babysitting thing as soon as I got home. Slept in this morning.
Left my phone in the tank bag and then out the door to Aledo to watch the grand kid's and a friend of theirs. My daughter
lives just off FM 5 so it was a bit painful riding on Aledo road and FM 5 in the wife's van instead of on two wheels after such a great day.
By the way the FWMR portion of the AAH signs are gone now. ( Yeah, I know, I'm the only one tearing up over this and I'm more than welcome
to continue cleaning it up by myself etc etc. )
Los Cazadores: The Hunters...I've never eaten at a Mexican Restaurant with a name like that but my only regret was getting a lunch portion
of the Chicken enchiladas instead of the larger dinner portion like Rick did. Mine was very good.
Jim I really like your new bike, I hope you enjoy riding it as much as I like looking at it.
A couple of Google views for those that missed the ride (It looked much better in person):
