On NPR recently they interviewed an anonymous source from the State Department who said many people there still use private, non-approved email providers because they dont have the budget to get everyone on the so-called secure servers.

Polo, are you making excuses for Hillary? Of course you can take away the email issue, and you're still going to have to make excuses for her. :-)

Clinton said, regarding her State Department email practices, "my predecessors did the same thing."

This is a misleading claim chiefly because only one prior secretary of state regularly used email, Colin Powell. Powell did use a personal email address for government business, however he did not use a private server kept at his home, as Clinton did.

We rate this claim Mostly False.

No matter what you believe or think about her, she will win in November because the best the Republicans could do was Trump. I am quite sure there were very qualified people in the republican party that they could have chosen.

A very large number of people are tired of Washington politicians in general, political correctness run amok specifically, a general lack of accountability for ones actions, and the general out-of-control state of the liberal agenda and media (my perspective). For a bunch that professes acceptance, they aren't very accepting of any viewpoint other than their own, and now that they have a head of steam, they are basically trying to steam-roll over anyone who disagrees with their politics. If it weren't so sad, it would be funny.

It's just a matter of time before someone like Trump starts making some noise and getting attention. IF he manages to shoot himself in the foot by shooting off his mouth and thereby not getting elected, 4-8 years of Hillary will just about guarantee he can run and get elected (or someone like him). Honestly, 8 years of Obama should be enough for everyone...but I guess it hasn't been for some. He's single-handedly weakened and divided this country more than any other five presidents in total (and I'm including Jimmy Carter in those five).

Again, just a personal perspective, which of course is kinda like a-holes...everybody has one.

I know my insurance has sucked the most it ever has in my life and my healthcare costs are sick ass high. But I gotta say, while I'm not a fan of Obama I don't think he's nearly as bad as what people state. HRC and Trump both scare the hell out of me.

HRC hasn't done anything new, private servers are more available and easier to use than where 15 years ago when Powell was S of S, so really it's a non issue. Bush got his AG to authorize torture and to collect data on Americans in America without a warrant, things we are not supposed to be able to do. If one hasn't realized that those in power or government hold themselves to a different standard than those they have power over or govern, then one is lost in this corrupt and complex world.

Republicans over the last 50 years have been about Big Business, the super rich, anti-environment, the Militarial Industrial Complex, anti-taxes. And believe me the Republican machine would love to have any of those other 15 talking heads over Trump. Trump is a result of the people, those that care to vote Republican anyway, getting fed up with that party's BS. I half way hope that jerk does get elected. After all, and I've said it before, how much worse can he be than what we've had over the last 35 years. The Republican base was always the super rich, evangelicals, and the upper middle class. The latter two are drying up and the former can only do so much with their millions of dollars buying influence and manipulation.

If HRC gets elected, and I believe she will, it will be more of the same as the last 8 years. Talking out of the side of their neck while we have more hand outs for Big Business and Big Military, the 2% acquiring more wealth, less people in the middle class, more poor, eroding freedom, more corruption, ect. Basically talking a good game to get elected and then business as usual, with just enough lip service to keep the people fooled. Bernie was my last hope. Now I don't really care. Whatever happens won't really affect me much. I may vote for Gary Johnson again or I may not vote at all, which will be the first time since I turned 18 in 1989.

and hopefully everyone knows that the affordable health care act was so stripped and added to by republicans by the time it was law, it didn't much resemble the original language. It was better for some and worse for a lot of us.

And a lot of us are aware the act even in it's original form did nothing to actually address the real problem around healthcare - so you can lean on the left all you want but the reality is they don't give a damn about you same as the right.

I don't get the big deal of the president. When it comes to law making anyway, the Congress and Senate have to approve everything first.

Except for an executive order. It's constitution, executive order, then legislative law.
