Eurosport Track Day @ MSR, June 1st 2014

Post by Striple » Fri May 23, 2014 11:22 pm

Eurosport is hosting a track day at MSR on Sunday, June 1st.

This is by far my favorite track day of the year, so I'm doing everything I can to try and make it. Anyone else in?

2 groups: track school & open track. 30-minute sessions.

$150 for the day.

Call Eurosport to register.

I really want to but not sure I can make it happen. This truly is a great track day if you can find a way to go do yourself a favor and go.

How is this different than RideSmart?

Much smaller groups is the big thing usually. Striple can correct me, but I belive it's less of a school and more of a track day.

Damnit. 1125 needs a suspension adjustment and tires. Oh well this weekend is for putting the 650 back together. :(

There are only two groups, each running 30 minutes on the track. You typically get about 6-7 session of 30 minutes of track time, which is significantly more than RideSmart or Lone Star offer. The school is roughly equivalent to RS level 1, and the open group includes every skill level (mostly L2 equivalent, plus a few racers). Group size is typically about 12-15 riders, with the maximum that I have seen being around 25 (as opposed to the 40 riders per group that you typically see at other track days).
