Has anyone participated in TORN

http://tornracing.com/indexbike.html

I may throw the dirt bike in the truck tonight and see how this TORN thing works.

Yea, several guys I work with ride it. I was going to go Saturday morning and just ride until practice was finished, but something came up. There are other events like torn as well.

ya, I planned on doing the same, just riding during practice and not doing any of the races. The first lap I was struggling with some areas of the course that were not at all easy(for me). The second lap was much better and so on until around 11:00 my old ass started receiving negative feedback like it does on the last couple sessions of a track day, meaning that muscle cramping and failure were soon to follow. So after seeing several other faster riders picking there bikes up out of the dirt I loaded up with a smile and called it a good day!

i have raced with torn, they are really well run events. way better than the local tmx races i would do, you feel like a real racer at a real race. well at least until it starts, then i am back to being a very non-real racer in a very real race.

all kidding aside, torn is awesome and i am hoping to get in at leaat a few races this year. even though i am not even close to challenging for a win (or podium), i always end up having a fight with some folks for 16th or whatever we are duking it out for and having an absolute riot.

it does not matter how badly you ride, you will have so much fun and meet super cool people and will find competition.

Amen Mike, I had just the right combination of bumps, bruises and pucker factor to have a great time. I am probably just dreaming but I have asked Santa Clause for a new KTM, electric start...!!!!
