JOB SUMMARY:

Provides technical classroom training, one-on-one mentoring, and technical support for Henry Schein helpdesk technicians and field technicians with the goal of developing and maintaining strong technical skills, troubleshooting skills, and other related skills.

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Creates, provides, and maintains training material, guides, manuals, resources, and other helpful information for Henry Schein technicians.Provides direct one-on-one technical support and mentoring for technicians.Travels as necessary for training opportunities.Creates and administers feedback tools using existing systems to identify success and improvement opportunities for the training, advancement, and/or mentoring program(s).Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

 

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

Qualifications

 

Experience:

Previous technical experience and/or training experience with digital products for healthcare such as practice management software, imaging database software, imaging devices, and other healthcare technologies are a plus.

Previous technical experience and/or training experience with computer hardware such as desktops, servers, printers, scanners, switches, firewalls, modems, routers, backup systems; Windows OS such as 2008 Server, 2012 Server, Windows 7, and other Windows operating systems are a plus.

Technical certifications are a plus.

Minimum 2 years technical support experience or equivalent.  

Previous training experience required.

Previous HSPS Support Team Leader experience or equivalent a plus. 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

eServices/Easy Dental/Dentrix/Dexis/3shape Trios Devices/3M True Def Devices/Planmeca Devices/Romexis/Computer Hardware/Networking Devices/Windows OS product knowledge is a plus.Effective time and resource management skills with ability to assign, train and monitor work. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), decision making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills. Professional appearance and presentation required. Ability to resolve complex problems and questions on function and usage of products and services.Ability to professionally handle and resolve stressful situations will be required. Excellent telephone skills, detail oriented and ability to handle confidential information.Excellent analytical and statistical analysis skills.     Excellent speaking and presentation skills.Must be highly organized and task-oriented with excellent time management skills.Must have a strong work ethic and strong initiative.
