I don't know the brand, but the price is right...and I believe there are other items to peruse as well.

What are you looking for specifically on craigslist? Do you get on there and drool or is there something specific you are looking for?

A buddy of mine has a suit from that brand, and recently lowsided at Cresson (in the triple apex). Apparently the suit ripped at the seams when he impacted, causing him to get some pretty nasty roadrash on his knee. Small sample size, but definitely not a good testament to that brand.

Then I would like to offer a testimony to the effectiveness of AGV Sport...held up well.

My mesh jacket alone was a $60 more than this suit, I wouldn't trust it.

Wow that is stupid cheap. I might actually buy a set just to see if they are made of pleather or not.

Also check EBay. As some of you know I only wear Teknic safety equipment. I found a NOS $700 Teknic suit there; they wanted $500 for it. Since I still had the master price list I offered cost plus $15 thrown in for shipping and they accepted, so $400 shipped. I got a size up from my usual 42 and I'm glad I did, it's a junk masher. But I'm glad I did, it was new and not much more than the used craigslist stuff I was looking at then.

Yes, a little research and patience goes a long way on saving $. I paid $405 for my suit, shipped, it originally retailed for $999.

And I followed the advice of the website, and I either ordered one, or maybe two sizes larger, and anything smaller wouldn't have worked.
