Annual Service Awards Banquet for about a dozen 5- 20 year employees last night. Hate to miss the bike night, but free food and drinks, so what are you gonna do. Plus I had to the emcee. I'm shooting for Chris Rock's job next year.

It was another frustrating night....

They didn't have the bike parking.
They didn't have a table big enough ready.
They wedged us in the back corner hard up against the wall.
The first hour was filled with screaming kids again.

Also, I've learned from this that being a biker leads to raising better kids. There were 4 kids in attendance from the club, mostly forgot they were there, unlike the other little creatures swarming over the place....

Good turn out and good to see everyone again.

Hopefully next month Plucker's gets it right.

I spoke with the GM, he apologized, gave us some free appetizers and told me to contact him directly if I need anything.

He told me his (hostess? I don't remember) was suppose to give us that entire back row of tables - I dunno who is at fault but I did let them know we were not pleased and he said he wanted our business and gave me his card.

Well, I've kept reasonably quiet on the subject...but F&H was light years ahead of Plucker's to me...and that's not taking into consideration the location which I know is better for some of you.

There was just a lot of flexibility at F&H: easier to visit with people (a big difference to me), more to ourselves, and so on. My unsolicited $0.02.

No matter where we go some people will be happy some people will be less happy. Regardless of preference F&H was not willing to meet our needs so we moved on.
