Since time at Cresson is limited, I really want to make one of these dates, if nothing more than to learn the track for next season. I'm going to get a full size van to transport the Ninja, cause no way I'm riding it down there, but the money I want to use is tied up, so... Maybe I rent a trailer and pay someone going down to pull it?

So who else, what's the plan?

Any word on why Ridesmart canceled MSRC Oct 28th and 29th? Then a few weeks later added COTA on that weekend. I may be in for COTA if I don't buy a Jeep before Oct. In which case my "fun" allowance will be overspent for a while.

I would guess they cancelled MSRC because they were in the process of finalizing the COTA deal.

COTA is close to Dave’s house. COTA must make enough off Dave and vice versa. Dave is really old, how much longer can he do this? They usually do a very populated near Halloween date at Cresson every year. So it could be a matter of staying close to home for same money? Cresson and RS relationship is cooling? Next season schedule will say something.

I think you're reading too much into it. My guess is more people want to go to COTA than Cresson. Sounds like Dave had the opportunity and took it.

I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but COTA is the closest and last RS track day to me now until... I guess I better start hitting up SportRider Coaching for an experienced flag-man job. JK Dave. I'm going to buy a trailer and I got gas money for someone going down. I'm thinking Sunday.

I got a room by the airport for Saturday. And I guess I’ll be able to get on track somehow.

Going to keep my eye on the weather, there is a chance I will do this if it doesn't fill up first.

It’s a motoGp track so the facility is first class, what do you expect. It’s RS too, so new guys behind the instructor for RR, in which I get one whole lap, before a young lady split us and some guy in front of her decided to teach a different line for some corners. So we come around turn one to 2 and the 5 people in front of me are on 5 different lines. I’m like classic RS. Thank intuition and I had watched the RS video about 50 times before I hit it.

The track is fairly easy to learn because they’re bridges and grand stands and bad ass meter signs after the long straights. And throw in the big X’s they put out. I did stay in low, and I hit 135 on the back by the end of the day. Track record 2:04, level 1- 2:55, level 2- 3:05-3:15, I only got a hand full of timed laps around 3:35, but I was really wasn’t pushing. You get maybe 5 laps per session, RR plus 6 sessions. We red flagged once so I got maybe 31-32 laps. Would I do it again. Yeah probably, the track is really cool.

Glad you enjoyed it. It really is an amazing track. I'd love to get down there again, maybe take the car some time too.
