That is an interesting question as you dont have a vehicle to insure. I say go to Family PowerSports in Weatherford and testdrive stuff there. I dont think they ever asked me for anything other than my DL. Nice people too.

I don't know - I have only bought insurance, to cover the vehicle I am driving.
When travelling, I've rented cars using my credit card - Some credit card companies will automatically insure the rent-car. Check with your credit card company to see if their company will cover you "test-driving" or renting a motorcycle.

I thought you were in town for training - and I just assumed that ment something like 2 or 3 weeks. It seems like you've been here for 2 months ? How long do you get to visit?

If you have insurance on your bike back home, you could try to get a copy of that insurance card and hand that to the dealer.

this might also be a problem when you rent a bike.

I know that you can get "non owner insurance" for cars. I don't know about bikes. But non owner on cars means you can drive other peoples vehicles and be insuranced but there is no actually car on the policy. Check that out.

Valentina I'd suggest a combination of getting a copy of your insurance back home, contacting your credit card company to see if they will cover you, and also see what it would take for you to get an international drivers license while you are here.
