Charity Raffle
One of our members is a foster parent and he belongs to the Tarrant County Foster Parent Association. The associatioin tries to do something for the foster kids around Christmas every year. He asked if the club would be interested in doing anything for the kids.

Another member, El Diabro stepped up and offered one of his trackday credits for a raffle and while he was checking with RideSmart to make sure that was ok, Dave at RideSmart offered up an additional trackday credit. So we are having a rare, double win raffle. We will have two different winners for this raffle and all proceeds from this raffile will go to Tarrant County Foster Parent Association.

A big thanks to Kevan (El Diabro) and RideSmart Motorcycle School, who have both generously donated a trackday credit to the raffle for this charity.

There will be two winners, the same person can NOT win both trackdays.

We also have a special, buy 5 squares, get 1 free. Squares are $4 each.

If you would like to donate to the charity but don't care about the raffle we will gladdly accept donations.

We'd like to get these all sold so that we can hold the drawing at the next bike night, Dec. 9th.

We will also start posting the raffle info at other forums next week so if you want some squares speak up and get in touch with either myself or sckego.

The money@fwmr.net address is still open for other transactions (including if you just want to make a donation to the charity), but NOT for anything involving the raffle. 55 squares left and the raffle has been posted on two other forums so I expect they'll be going quick. Be sure to get your squares quick if you want some.

The free trackday credits are good for any trackday so if you plan to do a trackday in the 2011 season, here's you're chance for a free one any time you'd like it. $20 gets you 6 squares.
