No, I have like 3 items from the list. I can get quite a few in one day but by the time I get done work, I don't feel like riding out to get them. I will get some more this week :-D

It has to be from the the 1960's since the challenge is your bike and a car from the 1960's (so 1960-1969 meets that criteria). Who put that in this challenge :HeadScratch: ?

motorheads on classiccar.com say 55-56 they were close, but this one is a 55. Why doesnt the challenge say 1960's car or OLDER??? :(

When the complete list was posted (some 200 challenges) there was one on there for your bike and a car from the 50's...If it was 1950's and not the 60's, I would have had this one. Oh well...gotta keep on looking :)

I know. I also missed the mark with this one. Snail tells me it is a 70's, most likely 73.

:SideSplittingLaughter: Geez...why not just get your bike and a vehicle from every era since vehicles were made EXCEPT the 1960's? :SideSplittingLaughter:

The perfect spot to get a picture of this class of cars (1960's) would be a drive in (I can't think of what they are called), you know where all these classic vehicles meet up at Sonic or Albertson's? CRUISE IN, I do believe they are called. Anyways, THAT is where we need to meet this challenge at.

guess cars from the 60's just weren't made to last....

What are the caddy's at the route 66 ranch? Maybe I will have to make a trip there.

I don't think those qualify as cars anymore. More like thick layers of dried spray paint that still hold the shape of cars that were once there. You also can't ride your bike up to them, you need to park on the highway some distance away.

What if you just take a picture with a VW beetle? I don't think there's an easy way to differentiate between any of the 1938-2003 models, so if you say it's a 1960s model, who's to argue?

Maybe we need to ride here http://www.hardwayclassiccars.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and see if we can get the bikes close enough... Maybe sweet talk the guys to bring one outside for us (if they aren't already there). :D

Well, it could have been the car too since they are "girlie" cars :)

Friend of my Dad had one back when they were in school. The were out some place with their girls and the buddy had a habbit of playing with the parking brake at stop lights. His girl asked him what he was doing. He told her the car ran on a spring and he had to pump it up at every light. My Dad played along and they had the girls convinced that the car ran on a spring and that the engine was to run the heater.
