If someone has a drill press and a 7/8 drill bit that we can use to cut into the plastic cover plate for my headlights I would really appriciate it.

I have a drill press but no 7/8 bit. I have a 7/8 paddle bit though.

Tape both sides of the plastic before drilling. This helps keep the plastic from cracking / chipping when you're drilling into it. Try to use a coring drill bit instead of a paddle bit as well. Just tips I picked up from the Cyclewerkz folks...

:icon_whs0be: If you are going to do it, a cone bit will work better for plastic. Just do it slowly so the plastic doesn't melt too much. You will royally screw it up if you use a spade bit.

A cone bit or (Uni bit) would work. Don't forget to tape the area being drilled on both sides to prevent cracking.

Cyclewerkz did it for me and it took them like 2 whole minutes from the time I handed the plastic to them till they handed it back...... Let me just say CYCLEWERKZ FTW for anyone that didnt know. Scott and Dave are the MEN!!
