DO NOT disclose the location or name of the bridge if you find it

HINT: Constructed in 1891 and is located around an area we frequent on our rides
I found a suspension bridge that is located not too far away, but it was opened in 1869. Do I go with that one, or look for the oldest one built after that in 1891?

There are several suspension bridges constructed before 1891. The oldest still in service was constructed in 1839 and is in Pennsylvania, bit of a ride for a photo challenge.

Someone send me a PM saying that the one I found that's built in 1869 isn't it, but lonestar rides a triumph, so he obviously doesn't know any better, so 1869 it is!

There is an article out there that says that about a specific bridge in the area so it may be wrong, but if someone wants to go to PA for a pic challenge I say game on!

He does know better. He probably helped build it.

For someone with such a hillbilly avatar, that was a pretty good response...well played sir.

I just can't believe it was right off the main highway all these many years and I never knew it. Maybe there is something to be said for slowing down. :HeadScratch:

Can we NOT do challenges that are 5 minutes from Lonestar? I'm sensing a conspiracy with him leading on the points board here. LOL

Funny...the easiest and closest one we had...take a picture of your bike next to a Harley, I missed. We have anywhere from 1-4 here daily. For the record I've done one more than an hour from my house, some were generic enough that they were close to anyone's house, and most of the others were 30-60 miles away from me.

The one advantage I might have is that fixxer told me what you win at the end, so maybe I've had more motivation.

Give me your address and I'll stop by and get you when I head out for the next one (assuming El Presidente posts one this month). We'll employ the "buddy system". I'll bring a tow strap to so we can get your bike home if you'll bring a backpack so we can pick-up anything that falls off mine.

Sounds like a plan.. but first we must know what this month's challenge is going to be. Bike with a live turkey in the background?

I know where to find live turkeys. How's about a real challenge...a live Pilgrim in the background.

You gonna stand in the background with those turkeys for me and be my real live Pilgrim?

Check out last December

And apparently the photo challenge has suffered a slow death.

Well I'd say a personnel elevator is more of an achievement that a freight elevator...kudos to you!

The question is, can you top the motorcycle / horse in a GLASS elevator as in True Lies?
