Anyone know where I can dispose of some antifreeze, the proper way? I know PepBoys will take used oil but it doesn't appear that they take antifreeze.

I don't know of anyone that takes it, other than paying to dispose of it at the dump.

I'll check, we may dispose of it at my work. I know we do oil, figure we have to do something with the other, but not certain.

By the way...the oil goes in the oil tank, and the gas goes in the gas tank. :SideSplittingLaughter:

You may have missed the "proper way" part of his sentence. Of course, I guess that is proper, depending on what part of Oklahoma you come from. :-)

Seriously, I figured it was a two-stroke, but I had a 50/50 chance or so that it still had a separate oil and gas tank I think.

There is also the school of thought that if you ride it, you don't have to throw old mixture away. Of course, my CBR needs carb work now for that very reason, so who am I to talk... :HeadScratch:

Do what I do, on your way to work, before AutoZone opens, just leave it by their door.

Watauga does a 1 time per year disposal of anything and everything, that's where I take old brake fluid and crap.

Yes, Stephenville does the same thing. We have a landfill day...and a prescription drug day (maybe all drugs for all I know...probably best to use the U-Turn approach when dropping those off.

Found the answer.
The Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center, they serve Fort Worth and several other small towns, Azle being one of them.

What about down the toilet? It would make its way to the treatment plant. All will be fine.

I usually save all that stuff till we go to my mother in laws in Oklahoma. Oil/Gas/whatever else mixture seems to help start the bonfire.
