Re: ECR on April 30th

As for the layout of the track, I find it kind of dull. There are a couple of technical spots, but the track largely feels like a long straight followed by two 90 degree turns. I prefer either version of MSR to ECR. The track was made for high hp cars for testing. Then they just never really cared ...

Re: Cresson 1.7 Mi CCW 3/7, 4/16, 4/17

I got my Q3s spooned on yesterday, so tomorrow I guess I'll pick up a rain suit. And a snorkel and mask. I may not ride but at least I can get lunch. It's too late to back out now. I am bringing my jetski http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn35/toy7521/Motorcycle/B589D035-2D8D-4E70-A79A-CAA84D10A3B...

Re: ZX6R valve adjustment/checking

I'll be interested to hear how it goes. Do you use RTV on both sides of the gaskets? I used the gray RTV that I use for the cars. I used it one the sharp edges where it goes down around the cam so that it would seal a little better in that area. I did not RTV the whole gasket. Bike is running a lot...

Re: ZX6R valve adjustment/checking

The one i worked on had that leak before it had done 5,000 miles. The owner didnt care enough to swap out the gasket so its still leaking. Its amazing that this issue crosses multiple generations of that model and Kawasaki still chooses to do nothing to fix it. I replaced every gasket I came in con...

Re: ZX6R valve adjustment/checking

Parts arrived yesterday, when I got off work I put it all back together. Bike started and ran last night! I was going to ride to work this morning but woke up later than I expected so didn't take the time to get the bike out of the house. Tomorrow though :)

Won't have the bike put together by then, still waiting on parts. Hopefully will have everything next week so I get back to riding. :(

Re: Cresson 1.7 Mi CCW 3/7, 4/16, 4/17

I have put about 600 miles on this bike. Back in 05/06 I used to ride and I did a cross country trip to Deals Gap and back for a rotary g2g. But I am really familiar with the track setting and right now, I am not ready for it. I will check out that headset when it comes time to that. I will just be...

Re: Cresson 1.7 Mi CCW 3/7, 4/16, 4/17

That's called the round robin, for the first session out in LVL1 and LVL2 they do a whole session at a slow to medium pace and in instructor shows you the lines, then they turn you lose. Throughout the day you can be teamed up with an instructor and there are classroom sessions. How many miles have...

Re: Cresson 1.7 Mi CCW 3/7, 4/16, 4/17

The track is a great place to get seat time. And it will teach you to be a better street rider. You won't have distractions like traffic, traffic lights, pot holes, gravel, etc to worry about. All you have to do is get comfortable with you and your motorcycle. And with the discounts for first timer...

Re: Movie Review Thread

iZombie and Gotham are pretty decent TV series on Netflix. Helix is also not bad, the story starts to become a little weird in the later episodes. Deadpool was amazing, I have seen it 3 times already due to friends going at different times. The second time I did notice more about the love story than...
