Re: ECR, 4/24 and 4/25

Just some clarification, Goldwing != Cruiser. Goldwings are big, heavy bikes, but they are designed to handle as well as possible for their size and weight (and they do handle amazingly well). Re: Moderate Ride, Sunday, April 25th

I was totally not paying attention to the date. I looked earlier this morning to see if the ride was still on since it's all rainy, then noticed that it's *next* weekend. I should be good to go for this ride, my gear should be all dried out by then. The ride to Arkansas was great, I tore up Talimena...

Re: Your bike and why......

I used to have a Ninja 500 and a cruiser in my garage. I was looking for something that would be more comfortable for long-range riding than my cruiser but still fun with the get-up-and-go and cornering. Sport-touring seemed to be calling my name, and the Concours 14 is just the best bike you can ge...

Re: Moderate Ride, Sunday, April 25th

I'm a maybe. Riding to Arkansas on Friday and back on Saturday. If I feel like a 3rd day of riding I know where to find one.

Re: Saturday, 4/17 - Moderate Ride

I'd like to, but I'll be on my way back from Hot Springs, AR. :)

If my butt is up for a 3rd day of riding I might catch the Sunday ride.

Had the Connie since Saturday, and done about 350-400 miles. :)

Thanks to this forum, I found RideSmart, and signed up for the March 20th class at Cresson. So if any of you folks are riding Level 1, I'll be the guy on the Connie. ;)

Hello all

I've bumped into a few of you at events before. Been riding for just about three years now. Had a Ninja 500, switched to a cruiser, and just switched back to the sporty world with an '08 Concours 14. Figured I'd stop in and say hello, since you folks seem to know a thing or two about picking up the ...
