I would guess all of the sensors and servo motors would add more weight to the bike than just the wires, but probably not much. Also, they had to make sure that when you let off the throttle that the servo motors also shut down the fuel supply. Can you imaging the lawsuits if the sensor malfunctione...

Congrats! Which model did you get?

If you like stunting you will probably like the show. Otherwise don't bother. They did a track day out in California one time and all they covered was the one host learning to ride a motorcycle for the first time. Very disappointing. I'm not sure they they are doing another season or not.
