Re: Why in other States???
It is just weird...Texas is so BIG and evrything is bigger here...well not many organisations though...maybe it will change. I like that it is cheaper to go to a track...but i wish it wouldnt be so crowded and there would be more events... Even though it is bigger and has more people, Texas may be ...

Re: MSRC Oct 30/31
I wonder if that corner work in 8 was on the ball, seemed like that could have been avoided. Not my corner man. In addition to the two bike crash there were a number of run-offs on the exit of turn 2. After the track closed I was briefly in the upstairs classroom before I left and Dave, Tony, and a...

Re: Why in other States???
Interesting. I guess I'm in the same boat as Valentina. I knew about RS and LS. I knew that Eurosport did a few, but they are pretty rare, I think only a couple per year. Other than member days and a few open days, I haven't see much at ECR. I saw the web site for Fast Line. It may be that they don'...

Re: MSRC Oct 30/31
This was my third time on the 1.3. It really didn't feel like it, but I beat my best previous lap time by 8 seconds. If I can manage that every time, in 5 or 6 years I'll have the track record!

Re: Why in other States???
I don't think it is just Texas. Colorado has only a couple of orgs and they are not frequent and they are expensive. Perhaps ironically, MN which has a fairly short riding season, has them a lot, generally you can find something nearly every weekend at either DCTC, a technical college of all things,...

Re: MSRC Oct 30/31
I had a good time in the afternoon on Sunday but I never really felt on all day. Monday they only rolled out the trucks twice. There was a double coming out of ricochet in level 2. One bike drove back in. There was also a level 3 down near big bend because a dog ran across the track. The rider was f...

I've got enough space for side by side. Trailer next to the bike. If you are here before me just move one of them. Not sure about wind so I'm not putting up the canopy tonight.

I believe so. You have to be 25 because it doesn't have enough electronics to keep you out of trouble.

Re: Most recent purchase thread!
Dress warm, it's flipping cold when you jump. Yeah, figure between 2 and 5 deg. F drop in temp for every 1000 feet up depending on conditions, especially humidity. Low humidity means the rate will be closer to 5. If it is 80 deg F on the ground, and if it is dry out, it could be below freezing at j...

Re: Stepping down Oct 15th
Rick, I appreciate all that you have done here in the short time I've been involved with the club. Your leadership will be missed. It is unfortunate that you won't be able to make Bike Nights but I look forward to seeing you on rides (if I can manage to be in town for one) and at the track. Thanks, ...

It works pretty well on the airplane. I can put the headphones on and the noise drops a little. I turn on the noise canceling and it drop way down. I don't know if it is dependent upon just how uniform the noise is over time.
