That is a dramatic oversimplification of how a real helicopter is flown.

Sarena and I use the Scala Rider Q3s and she uses normal ear buds. I would imagine the PalkTalk is the same.

Re: New SENA 30k

The cool thing about this would be that you can go buy a walkie talkie for $30 and rig something up in your helmet using a cheap headset instead of spending 10 times that much. You won't get all the other Bluetooth phone/gps linkage and you'd have to have it on your person instead of hanging on your...

Re: New SENA 30k

The chatterbox X-2 uses a standard radio in the 460MHz range for intercom functions. It is similar to the FRS walkie talkies you can buy at most outdoor stores. If they really don't provide a VOX option then they are idiots. That's a deal breaker.

Re: New SENA 30k

The Sena seems like it is similar to the Cardo from last year, but with some additional features. Both seem to be able to add in other brand devices. http://cardosystems.com/portfolio-item/packtalk-2/ The Chatterbox unit looks good, I like the idea of just using a radio with no pairing. Does it just...

Re: Most recent purchase thread!

Out of curiosity, how old is this controller? Is the temperature measured in the case, the outside of the CPU package, or is it the actual CPU die temp? What is the controller CPU? Is it a standard Intel part or some other micro-controller? Do you happen to have the actual part number? I'll assume t...

Re: New park coming

To Matt's point about noise, I know there are tracks out there that have noise restrictions and may test if a vehicle sounds too loud; there may be clauses in his permit. But really, I think his statement is more PR. It looks like they have a convenient way to break the track into front and back sid...

Just to be clear, I'm talking about the Titan X not the 980Ti. It was sort of in jest since the Titan X is over $1K.

If you fly a drone be aware of the new FAA rules, like, but not limited to... Register drones over half a pound Keep it within line of sight Keep it under 400' AGL Notify airport operators within 5 miles; notification, but permission is not required. Many private or restricted air fields do not have...

For this price you could get Groms for yourself and 12 of your closest friends and have money left over for a couple of days on a go-kart track. After which you could stack them up and make a bonfire.

Re: Coffee anyone?

I used to get the $5 espresso cocktails, but then I bothered to actually look them up and found out that they can be over 400 calories for a 12oz cup. So I backed off that. I now use an Aeropress witch works well for my use. For me it is easier than a French press, but with similar results. The wife...

364-pound (wet) 215-horsepower

Of course I can't afford it, and even if I could the limited run is already spoken for, and even if it wasn't it would be wasted on me.
