Petcock rebuild kits

Post by fixxervi6 » Sat Mar 03, 2012 6:03 pm

Anyone know where I can find petcock rebuild kits for a 2001 kawi ninja?

Usual bike part sites bikebandit etc don't have the rebuild kits, just the entire petcock.

I was able to find kits for a lot of other ones and other years, but nothing in this range.

The petcock was cloged good, causing fuel starvation

Is it damaged, or just clogged? Should be able to run some carb cleaner through it and get it cleaned out and be good to go.

Both, just needed the rubber gasket for the selector and a couple o-rings, I cleaned up the rest of it.

Check http://www.ronayers.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, I've had pretty good luck finding most parts they sell to be on average 25% less than bikebandit... Looks like... part 16041-1007 (VALVE-FLOAT) for $25.90
