It's a gas, man.

Last October I went to put the bike up in storage for the winter, but I smelled gas. Always thought it was my neighbors POS car, but nope. little bit of gas dripping under the bike. Not Good.
I disconnected the quick-connects and the female side attached to the tank broke off. 11 year old plastic parts are breaking off in my hand.
So I put the bike under the car port and wrap it up in the cover for the time being.

I take my tank to the dealer in January to have a new quick-connect put in - both of them while your at it.
I get the tank back - splash in a gallon or so and attach it on the bike. Run the bike for 20 minutes I guess. No "leaks" but I smell gas. I don't see any gas - I think the smell is from being under the cover for 2 months stinking of gas. Bike and the cover needs to air-out.

Beautiful Saturday wasn't it?
Great day for a ride.
I need tires, fork seals, chain, inspection, insurance - wtf I'll ride for a little while.
Low fuel light is on - there's only about a gallon in there - better splash some in while I'm out here. After about 20 minutes riding I pull in, get off, pump 3 gallons in. Dam I must have spilled, look at all that gas dripping under my bike. That's a lot. That IS a lot of gas. A LOT.
:(
There is a towing service just for motorcycles. Guy has a truck with a flat-bed on a hydraulic arm that rises out of the bed and settles flat on the ground. For $125 you can give your bike a ride in the back of this truck to the dealership.
Waiting to hear back on what the problem is.
I "think" they put the quick-connects in and didn't use sealing tape? Or broke one of em? Didn't really show up until there was a decent volume of fuel in the tank?

Anyway I guess Tuesday or Wednesday I'll know.

Technically, it leaks :D

Does the bike have a petcock valve? Could that be the issue?

So you got the quick disconnects in the tank replaced, what about the other half, the ones on the hoses that go to the bike? Did you get those replaced too?
