I wouldn't say that, the RR and 6R are just as smooth and it's no real surprise it has more, that's the nature of larger bore engines.

My point, was how lateral the 675 delivers it's torque. Much more in the same manner that a 1k delivers it's torque. And the HP comparison is, eh. All the 600s are comparable in that manner. It's just how that power is delivered.

The 675 is my first bike. The first time I rode a ZX-10, I could tell there was more power, but it didn't feel any different than the 675. They both deliver the power in the same mannerr so they feel very similar. Where as going from zx-6 to a zx-10 there is a noticeable difference, as the power is delivered so much differently. And it reflects in the torque charts.
