S1000RR down for maintenance/facelift

Post by russian » Sat Jun 23, 2012 5:32 pm

well my wheelbearings started making noise so i decided to park the bike and get that fixed. going to be upgrading to Ceramic bearings, while i had the wheels apart decided to powdercoat them, noticed the front wheel had a slight dent in it, so gotta get that fixed too :/

also all fairings/tank are off to get painted, the bike is going to be all white, should look really nice when done.

taking the time to change all fluids, bleed brakes etc. at 10k miles, i figure its about time!

It really does do a great job. It also might take some paint off though... lol.

When it comes to my girls, only spots that get Simple Green are the chain and greasy areas. For the rest, its Mothers baby! Wash n wax n the true redheaded nature of my girls comes out!
