Fork Seals

Post by nitzer » Thu Jan 31, 2013 10:39 pm

Anyone done them? I was going to replace mine when I installed the Traxxion emulators and springs. The darn Suzuki parts guide is confusing. Do I just need the actual oil seals? I think my dust covers are still in good shape. I'll probably just call a dealer and ask them what parts I need to do the seals. I also thinking about taking the forks off and just dropping them off somewhere and tell them to replace the seals after I remove them and install all the new (used) Traxxion parts. I'm just afraid I'll run into the same crap at a dealer that they won't install them if I drop a used kit off to have them install everything start to finish.

I've done them. Do them all at once and of you have them means upgrade

Miles, have you been reading some Chinese manual for replacing fork seals?

Well, I pulled the forks this weekend so the bike is sitting on a front stand at home. Now I just have to find the time to drop them off at Cycle Werkz.
