Oil Lines

Post by U-Turn » Sun May 19, 2013 10:15 pm

Changing oil this afternoon, by feel. Drain plug is next to the filter, so I got the 14mm. No, I guess I don't remember the right size. 15mm,16mm,17mm. 19mm that fits it. Wow, could have sworn it was the 14mm.
Oil started leaking as soon as I loosened the bolt.
Bolt came out, a bit of oil and lookie there, the drain plug hose.
Wait. That's not right.
I unscrewed one of the oil-cooler lines from the pan / bottom of the block area.
I screwed it back in but my question is,
Is there a specific way that bolt needs to go in ?

And the drain plug, on the other side of the filter, is a 14mm.
Didn't want anyone to be held in suspense about that.
