Anyone have an old android phone laying around? I have a 3D printer and learned you can setup an android phone to run/manage the printer. Sounded like an interesting project but all I have is old apple phone.

I've got an LG g4 laying around that yoire welcome to have.

Pros:
it had a new motherboard installed by LG under warranty about 2 weeks before I jumped on the pixel train forever ago.

It's in near perfect condition

Cons:
It's not a new phone by any means so it may or may not have the processing power you need

It's micro USB (ewww)

Guy I found showing how to do this used a phone that was about 11 years old.

what kind of printer, I've been considering resin

How soon do you need it? It's the last week of school and a neighbor's wedding have me pretty much booked til after the holiday weekend

Want the phone for an Ender 3, but I also have a Mars 2 SLA printer. Depending on what you want to do with the printed products would determine which printer you want. SLA's a great for high detail figurines. FDM is better for functional
parts.

No rush, I'm not going to have time myself to try anything till next week at the earliest.
