Ridesmart Credits for sale

Post by shilka99 » Tue Jan 28, 2014 4:33 am

I just found a stash of 1 and 2 day coupons I forgot I had. If anyone is interested in a ridesmart track day for $100 let me know.

Just to clarify;
Credits are good for any Ridesmart track day at any track,
They do not expire,
They are good for one day at any level, unless you buy a 2 day coupon which works twice. But they also cost $200...

I take paypal.

Just a word of caution: track riding can be tad bit addictive...

But just a tad.

Yep, I was kinda expecting that may be in my future. I've already actually been considering getting my CBR primped for a sale and then a potential track bike taking it's spot in the garage. We'll see. I keep trying to imagine a track bike as I do a boat...it's really nice to have a good friend who doesn't mind letting you take it out every now and again.

That would have to be a *really* good friend.

Your odds of crashing a boat are pretty low.

Well boats need registration and crap. A track bike can just sit there with fuel stabilizer in it when you aren't using it and doesn't require any sort of paperwork upkeep. Fuel injection recommended.

Track bikes are a fantastic way to go. You can usually get a decent track bike for around $3k or one that is well set up for around $5k and up. If you like riding motorcycles, then you will most likely going to love riding the track. Its everything most people like about riding bikes without most of the nuisances like cars, oncoming traffic, or LEOs.

The first few local track days of the season are at MSR (LSTD) on 03-01, ECR (Ridesmart) on 04-19, and again MSR (Ridesmart) on 05-17/18. Most people prefer MSR over ECR, but any track is going to be just fine for your first track day.

Bright colored, loud track bike + leathers + flying around a track = you get laid, fact.

Leaky boat = you go broke trying to keep it floating, and the kind of chicks you attract with a pontoon boat, you probably don't want anyway.

Correction...I think I meant to give 84 the "cough, cough", not 82. Good points on the boat, and 100% agree on the pontoon boat. I've got the "getting laid" covered, but thanks for the advice. Any chicks attracted I'll just send Miles' way.

I'd read a lot of complaints about ECR (seepage, maybe rough, etc.), but then also read where they addressed some of the seepage late last year if I remember correctly. I'll actually have two track days, the one I bought from Shaun, and the newbie 1/2 off, so I'm hoping to be able to pull off the 4/19 and 5/17. I would imagine, like was stated, it won't matter too terribly much where the first one is, it's just a longer trip for me, depending on the weather, and I'll be riding.

I haven't been on ECR since they have repaired it, but I would recommend cresson for your first track experience over ECR.

Cresson is agreat track to get started on. Surface is pretty good, track is easy to learn pick but doesn't get boring, each turn is unique and some of them you can spend months trying to hit the perfect line, and perhaps one of the most comforting thing about the track vs others, there is plenty of run off for that oh shit moment. You hope you never need it, but when you know you can shoot off the track and not worry about hitting a wall, or giant rock, it puts you at ease a little.

Yep, this sounds like the track for me. You guys have been great with advice, and I appreciate it very much.
