I'll be there but I'm doing a 1-on-1 with a Level 3 rider so I'll be a little busy.

I am most likely going to be out of town. If not then I will be there at least to sit around and talk.

I was just looking at this. I don't work Mondays so it might be perfect for me. I was thinking about doing both days again.

Bike is fixed, so I'm officially in for this one. Since this is on a Monday, I'm hoping for a nice and empty track!

That was a lot of fun! S84 was hauling ass out there, and DS was collecting black flags! And Jeff scrubbed in his new knee pugs.

Yeah. It was a blast. I'm wiped but it was totally worth it!

I guess I didn't hear about DS and the black flags..... Thursday?

And I got the nod to move up to Level 2 for my next event. Damn instructor snuck up on me during the last session I rode (2nd to last) and creeped on me. I guess he missed the accidental wheelie into downshifting into the wrong gear losing the rear and accidental stoppie to keep from off roading through wagon wheel.....

My lap timer on the 675 (driver operated) recorded lap times from the 1:39 (x2) to the 1:45, with the average somewhere around the 1:42 mark. I wasn't the fastest in the group though, there were 2 or 3 guys I had to really struggle to stay with them. As soon as traffic hit, I couldn't catch them. I've got to get some new gloves, and I want to make sure Roger has time to dial in the suspension next time around.

Either way - I'm going back!

I had 2 black flags Sunday, and one Monday. Of the 3, one was an obvious inside pass and I knew it when I did it. One was questionable, and from my perspective was ok. And one was just a corner worker that did not know outside passes were ok.

Was a great two days. The 1.3 really wears out your legs though, so for the 1.7 I was pretty much dead all day long. Did find another guy about my pace on a 675. We were playing cat and mouse the last two sessions of the day. I'd carry a bit more corner entry speed, and he had a bit more power coming out so until one of us made a mistake or got caught in traffic passing each other was a real challenge.

Yeah, I definitely find some of their rules pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, but if you look at them as a school rather than a track day, it's not too bad. A lot of schools have what seems like really weird rules that turns out to be great teaching tools. Not sure I agree with the X thing but it is what it is. I also really dislike the cones on the track, there has to be a better and just as effective way of keeping students from running off the track going over the hill.
