As I'm not near as fit as you, so I'll see you on the 1.7

I'm about to sign up. Thinking I will do level 1.5 on the 4th (1.3 track) to warm up and then do level 2 on the 5th (1.7 track). Hope the rain will cooperate.

I am planning on being at both, but watching the weather. I do not want a repeat of CMRA round one. Image

That looks like an adventure, was it?
I’m doing the same thing, watching the RS site and the forecast. I’m not interested in a wet track day.

WFAA says it's going to be dry. Keeping my fingers crossed. I am signed up for level 1.5 on Sunday and level 2 on Monday. BTW 1.5 on Sunday is filling up.

I’m on the 1.3 in 1.5 for Sunday. I show rain and a high of 62, for now, on Monday.

Weather underground shows a 50% chance of rain mid morning but only 0.07 inches of rainfall, I'd say you should be good. Temps look to be a bit on the cool side though, and if you get any misting at all you'll want to be careful.

I may go down Saturday night and set up a can O p. Hopefully the rain won’t be a washout.

Or happen at all. Call me if you do set up Saturday, I may drop my cycle off and have Amy drive me in the morning. I'm have an issue with the Ninja throwing a 39 CEL code so I may be on ol faithful

A work friend of mine said that ZX bikes of your vintage are pretty particular about batteries and can exhibit all sorts of strange behavior. If the battery isn't new since you bought the bike last year have it checked before you do anything extreme. It is easy and free. He said that those bikes can act up when the batteries start getting weak, even while they are still technically not below the "good/bad" threshold.

Some GSXR's are just like this, the white 750 in the garage is like this and it drove me nuts trying to figure out what was wrong with it.

amen! Not just the GSXR's my R6 drove me nuts there for a while with electric issues. Last week it just died at freeway speed on my 20 year old!. He pulled over did the off/on with the ignition and started it up. WTF??? Early one morning last month my CBR headlights went out. I pulled off the road turned it off, started it back up and they came back on..... Beats the hell out of me! Maybe I just need a new R1 or an s1000rr ?

Exactly what it was. Charged it for 20min and good to go. That OEM exhaust is all on and I did it all myself. About to head down

Dang Matt, Monday was much better.... the track never got 10/10, but compared to the slick cool mess of Sunday, Monday really was good.

Seth, Jeff it was a good day. I don't know exactly if it was the slippery Sunday, the cooler temps(tires were barely even warm coming off the track), the huge decrease in engine braking that came from the ECU reflash, or my cupped front tire (which I didn't notice until now), but I did not feel my usual all be it small, level of confidence this weekend from the front end. On a positive note, I was not the guy who trashed his R1 and royally fu&Ked up our last session!

P.S. I found lvl2 class to be much more helpful than the standard lvl1 presentations.

Yeah, Monday was a good day. Wasn't at the top of my game, but in spite of that, and the track being cold all day, I had fun. I think I spent all day just getting back to where I was at the end of last year, and maybe not quite that.
