Our Riding Philosophy

Post by GSXRRider » Thu Nov 02, 2006 9:04 pm

We as sport bike riders, did not purchase these amazingly fast and nimble machines to putt around the countryside smelling the flowers and taking in the scenery.

We generally head to the countryside to trample the flowers and watch the scenery go by as a blur in our peripheral vision. The blur is green or tan depending on the time of year and the location.

With that said, the clubs riding style is based on the belief that there is a way to ride fast and safe. Choosing the right time and place to open the throttle and knowing one's limits are very important to becoming a smart fast rider rather than a fast dead rider.

Not all riders are the same and each rider likes to ride differently. Some riders like to blast through the twisties, others like a brisk pace, and others just cruise through them.

The Sport Club is made up of all of these and we accommodate all styles of riding. See 'Ride Classifications' for more details about the rides.
