Moderate Ride Sunday Oct.18th

Post by Dragonfly » Fri Oct 16, 2015 7:26 am

Moderate Ride Sunday Oct. 18th
Kinda Short notice, but you wouldn't expect anything less from me.
We will be heading in a South/SouthEast direction. Different start location than normal.

THIS IS NOT OUR USUAL MEETUP!!!! MAKE SURE YOU READ!!!!

Meetup: Wataburger in Venus https://www.google.com/maps/place/Whata ... 2185?hl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Kick stands up: 9:30
Ride Leader: Dragonfly aka Benny

This will be a Moderate pace ride. Moderates are great for riders who want a slightly faster pace than beginners but still slow enough to be relaxed and comfortable on any sized bike, with a passenger, or learning to ride with the group. The pace for a moderate ride is at or near posted speed limits. On a Moderate ride the ride leader tries to keep a closer eye on the group and adjust the speeds appropriately.

Please be dressed appropriately: helmet, jacket, gloves, over the ankle shoes and long pants.

I see you've been around a while, but I don't recall that we've met. I also see you're now a Meatball. Cool, congrats, and welcome to all that Meatballdom is. :D

Oh yeah, sweet ride. :cool:

I can only imagine his garage (or yard) looks like some of these country hillbilly's who have about 1/2 dozen or more cars sitting around in various states of disrepair.

On a side note, I hope my hillbilly reference didn't disparage anyone's heritage. :oops:
