Uhm. Ridesmart is there Sunday. Was also going to be Monday, but that got cancelled. Is Roger there Saturday also for members or something?

Looks like someone needs to change the ride date.

Well hell. Guess the ride will be on Sunday. No idea if Roger will be there. I sent him an email but have not received a response yet.

Question, I did have Rodger adjust the suspension on that 2005 blue R6 I was riding at the track a while back. He basically tightened the thing up for a 220ish chub like me and the bike felt tight all the way around, as in I was feeling every pebble and bump in the road which made the bike feel unstable and not confidence inspiring. After that day I changed the tires on the bike and it improved a lot.

My issue, I am now riding my 2009CBR1000rr and the suspension feel gives a lot of confidence it only feels shaky or a little unstable(not very often) when I am pushing it quite hard(for me) which is my warning to be gentle and smooth as the bike settles. So I don't know if I want it adjusted in any way, what are the chances I would not like the outcome of a suspension adjustment?

What say ye who have already walked this path???

I'll say this - I don't like where roger sets my suspension I ALWAYS change it after he adjusts it.

I would say he gives you a good starting point, the main thing I use him for is to set the sag simply because that can be a pain in the ass and I'm of the opinion proper sag is the place to start, if your sag isn't correct nothing else matters (for us street riders), I think he sets the rebound damping too high, and sometimes sets the front angled down a little too much - but like I said it's a starting point. The best way to dial it in imo if your not going to play with it yourself is take it to him first thing in the morning, have him adjust it and do a session, take it right back to him after the session and tell him what you didn't like and let him tweak it, if you pay your money he'll tweak it all that day for no additional fees.

Ok. I'm going to cancel this as Roger is probably not going to be there and there doesn't seem to be any interest in it anyway.

That would be weird, I don't know if I've ever not seen him there. I'm going down tonight to set up. I'll post if I see his trailer.

Did Roger ever reply? I was actually planning on going there tomorrow to get my suspension adjusted.

I am here but I do not see Roger's trailer. That doesn't mean he won't be here tomorrow necessarily.
