Friday Dublin Run

Post by DarcShadow » Mon Apr 19, 2021 7:30 am

I'm making a run down to Dublin in the car to pick up some syrup. If anyone would like to join you're more than welcome. We can meet up at the Sonic in Aledo, 8:30. The Old Doc Soda shop is closed so lunch will have to be someplace else.

Looks like a good chance of rain Friday. I still need to install my tire, so we will see.

You going to take 377? If so I could link up near granbury. For lunch, there ain't much in double n anyhow. There is granny Clark's, but, it's higher than a cats back. There is a spot in stephenville called Montana restaurant that ain't half bad though.

Yeah, I'm hoping the rain forecast is wrong. Will still make the drive, but won't be nearly as much fun.

Not really, will be on it for about 2 miles near Bluff Dale but that'll be it. Will probably stop at Hard-8 in Stephenville for lunch.

Man, the forecast is holding that rain on Friday, so it might be a wash. Hopefully it'll just be a squirt in the morning or something.

If you are going to stop at the gas station in bluff dale, I could meet you there. Might be able to get bj and q to tag along.

Hard 8 works for me. I don't mind bbq.

One of these days, I'll make it to a bike night. Timing has just been off.

Well weather forecast is looking pretty bad. We'll see how it look in the morning but right now I'll probably just take the truck and run straight down 20 and 281.

Yea, I went ahead and got out this morning on the road king and the weather looks pretty shady. I think I'm going to sit this one out. The tires on the r1 are kind of sketch anyway and it's looking like a recipe for disaster.
