Glendora Ridge Road motorcycle accident

Post by dufremle » Wed Jun 24, 2015 1:14 pm

Accident happens at 2:42. My friend picks the camera up at 11:05.
My accident on April 1st 2015. I lost all memory of this starting from around 1:00.
To those of you saying that all my friend cared about was the GoPro, listen at about 10:28. You can hear me asking for the camera, he picked it up because I wanted it. He was here for me after the accident and would visit me.

He was lucky to hit the truck near its front side, which allowed him to rid of the inertia by being catapulted across the front end. Had he impacted a bit more centrally, he would have probably been toast.

I kept expecting him to hit something when he was crossing left of center on the left-handers. Damn it! And he had so much room to make it.

He had room but inexperienced.
I say that from the way he acts, startled to see an oncoming vehicle. 45mph impact

He grabbed the brake as soon as he saw the truck. That's why the bike wobbled like that--he immediately skidded his front tire. He smacked the truck before he could recover from that.
