Yea F1 is crazy, but to be fair they would need to put the F1 up against a GP bike - the F1 would still slaughter it tho.

This is easy to see by lap records in both. Take COTA. The F1 lap record is 1.39.347 while the MotoGP lap record is 2.02.135. That is a large difference. There are other tracks that might favor the MotoGP bike a little more. I was reading an article that says that the GP bikes are on average 20 seconds behind F1.

It all comes down to cornering and braking G forces. No way a motorcycle can match that.

MotoGP hits higher speeds in the straights but they can't hold the pace through the corners. MotoGP is still the king of acceleration.

F1 cars can't put full power down until they hit around 100 mph, then they can take off. You can see in this video how the F1 car and motorcycle are right next to each other until the F1 car gets the downforce it needs, then it just takes off like a rocket. The boat is useless. All Hondas.

That's got to be such a blast to try to drive.

Ever see the Top Gear episode where Hammond tried to drive a F1 car? It handled so differently from any other normal car he was not able to drive it fast/hard enough to keep the tires warm and couldn't maintain traction through the turns.
