Very upset to hear that. Like fixxer said tonight's set up was completely different. Matter of fact we had more new people come out tonight than we had members. Most members didn't even get there until 830. Either way it's no excuse. Sounds like you have already made your mind up, but I'll be shooting you a PM in the next few days. Please take all of this into consideration.

It was good to see everyone, especial those we don't see often at a bike night.

I'm sorry to here that peppers ,and I'm sorry I didn't do my part to make you feel more welcome. Please try us again on a ride and see if you enjoy our group better.

Peppers, last night my wife Amy and I made our first bike night. I had previously met a few of the members on one ride. Same thing at first, kind of hanging out watching, and then we started interacting, but definitely a little touchy/feely at the start, mostly just due to the fact that there were so many people there we didn't know. I tried to introduce myself to as many as possible finally, but as conversations started, I just didn't make it around to everyone, so sorry for not getting to meet you.

I got from some of the regulars that last night was definitely a little out of the norm, and that there were a ton of people there that were new, or newer.

Big crowd, good time, and we really enjoyed ourselves and getting to meet as many as we did. Thanks for putting on a good event, and we look forward to more. It really helped to put names and faces together, and I found everyone I tried to interact with very welcoming. There was a lot of people to meet in short amount of time, for sure. Thanks again, can't wait to ride. Terry

This was only my 2nd bike night and I've been on only two rides so I might have appeared to be one of the standoffish ones, however I've found the group overall to be very friendly. If there were a number of newbies like my self there then it's understandable that we/they didn't go around forcing our intros on each other. You really need to give it some more time and/or attend more events. I know that I don't go around intro'ing myself because I have trouble remembering names vs. screen names as it is, so I try to limit my name exchanges to keep the overload factor down.

Now on the other hand peppers73, if this other riding group is keeping your dance card filled up to the point that you no longer have the time for us then I guess you've won big time. If they ever let you up for air then please come try us again and feel free to bring some of them along.
Best wishes and ride safe from one FWMR newbie to another.

Bike night was great last night. It was great to see that size crowd and all the new faces. I know I didn't get to meet and speak with everyone myself. For those of you I didn't get to meet, I hope to meet you on a ride, or at another bike night.

It was a great night indeed. I think that there were more people there that I did not know than did. Where did you guys promote this thing?

If you missed out, here's a shot of the anniversary mugs for those that have been with the club 5 and 10 years. The staff has decided to start giving out these as members reach their 5 year anniversary with us.

On a side note, if anyone wants an etched mug or other glass get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do.

Are they etched into the mugs or are they some type of decal? I am just curious if they will eventually wash off after so many washings.
