Introduction

Post by chevyjada » Fri May 13, 2016 8:31 pm

Hi, I'm Mark. I've been riding sportbikes going on twenty years.
I started in 1997 on a 1996 katana 600. I beat the hell out of that bike and the concrete beat the hell out of me. I learned allot about riding on that bike.
I got into wera/cmra racing in 2000/2001 with a f3. I raced a couple of times but it got too expensive to continue.
In 2003 I got a 2003 600rr and started riding with the guys on dfwsportbike when I lived in Wylie and royse city.
I then sold the 600rr in 2009 and have been out of group riding since then.
I bought a 2013 gsxr 750 in 2013 and have been using it as a commuter on nice days to work. It has 32,000 miles and has not been down.
So just looking to get back to riding in a group. I keep creeping on the rides page but have not had a chance to get out to a Saturday ride yet. I'm waiting on a clutch, plugs and a filter so hopefully I can get it running before the next ride.
Mark.

Welcome. We know a place where you can pilfer all of the spare parts you need for that bike. Same color even. Nice bike.

Hope it works out where you can make the 5/21 moderate. Subscribe to the club rides thread to get updates.

I do need a upper fairing! I was pushed over into a traffic cone by a f250. The cone hit my left mirror and pushed it into the upper fairing breaking the corner off.
Thanks for all the welcomes also.

Welcome...I don't think Lonestar's farings will work. Terry, did you get the street set of fairings with that bike also?

I was thinking of Firewall's bike...and no, but I did get an unpainted Optimal front fender, it still has the stock on it.
