Hello

Post by Ridetilyoudie » Fri Jun 03, 2016 12:13 pm

My name is Brent... I ride a GSXR-600 right now. But have been riding off-road for my entire life. Got on the street and legal when I was 18 and moved up from a 250, 2 600s after the first got stolen, and then this past year I got a Repsol 1000, that turned out to have a bad omen on it and I had two accidents in two weeks. But I'm back on two wheels now. And I'm ready to start riding with others more often. I use my bike everyday... It's all I have and riding is my passion

Well, glad you survived the gremlins in the Honda. We usually find those in Kawasakis. :)

You can subscribe to club rides and get notifications, or just watch the boards. Look forward to seeing you on a ride soon, if as fixxer noted, the floods subside.

Oh yeah, you better submit pics of the bike before Miles shows up on here, or you'll be harassed unmercifully.

It's not up to my standards as far as looks go right now. I can't stand that it doesn't have the factory fairings on it. But for now it's a work in progress and I'm just glad I can ride everyday, after being without a bike for a little over a month waiting for the insurances to settle it out on the accident, and getting the old bike and headache off of my hands... Hopefully next year have another liter bike in the garage with it, using the 600 as a back up if or when the other bike is down

Nice, we're thinking of changing our name to "The Red Bike Club", so you'll fit right in. :-)

Welcome. Red vehicles attract cops so y'all can ride together and have the cops follow you while I in the opposite direction (with no cops). :)

I'm going to check the weather here shortly and then decide. I'll be pissed if I set it up and have to cancel again.

You didn't have to cancel last time. It was just "misting" not pouring

Yep, another red. Before long we'll run off all the slower non red bikes.

I can't help that I am slow...must be the "hand-me down bike" that I was given.

Yes, we're going to have to do something to remedy this. Too many non-red bike riders not riding lately...which I don't completely understand. I mean we're already riding slower for the Kawasakis, so I don't get why we're scaring off the non-red riders.

If only everyone was so lucky to receive a hand me down like that one.

I am not bitching...I am just saying that the hand-me-down is not red and therefore, slower.
