Introduce Yourself

Tell us a little about yourself and say hello to the gang. We would like to hear about who, what, and why you ride as well as how you found us.

Re-Beercapped

Post by beercap » Mon Oct 09, 2006 8:55 pm

Now that we are on the new board, we get to re-introduce ourselves?...

My name is Beercap and I ride red Ducs when I am not slaving at work...
The Beercap name dates back many moons ago... as the legend states,
this young' n was only to be found stuck to a bottle or thrown on the
floor... but I'm feeling much better now...

My hobbies include underwater basket weaving, dwarf tossing, and
wiper fluid target practice with tailgating BMW's ... Love bikes, love speed,
c u when I c u at the next Intermediate ride... ride fast, ride safe, ride on...

Cheers

Hello from NRH

Found your board last week and have been looking around. Looks like you have lots of good info.

Just recently started riding again, learned to ride on a CB90. When gas hit ~$3/gal went to go pickup a Ninja 500. Wife made it clear she wouldn't ride on the back of a sport bike so I picked up a Vulcan 900 Classic instead. You know, when Momma's not happy nobody is happy! Took the MSF right after and have been trying to stay safe in traffic. So now I have a cruiser that get 52 mpg and still looking at getting a sport bike!

Bought the bike in August and have 4000 miles on it already. I get a pretty spirited ride on 121 everyday, just no twisties.
