Welcome Benjamin look forward to meeting you. I might have some cutting and welding work for you, but - that is if your moving your shop down this way.
I've been lurking on born for a while now - sucks that the far north-east, that there is a riding season, that it's over. But downtime to fixup and improve the bike is good to have I suppose. As you know from living in Austin the riding season here is "under 100 degrees".
See ya when you get here.

I will be bring some stuff from the shop with me but most will be staying. I am going to keep the shop up here for a while. I can alway ship you parts if you can have them in a DXF and email them I can make it happen.

This years' riding season was about 3 weeks long and some good days here and there. I normaly put about 7k on my bike each season. This year maybe 3k maybe. I am so ready hit the twisties down south.

Do ya'll ever go to Deal's Gap?

ahh, the Deals Gap question.

A few of the board members have hit it, one lived out there several years. Some one in the club usually brings up the idea of doing a club trip out there but so far it's all been talk.

This year was possibly the closest we got with the idea of doing the Indy MotoGP then hitting Deals Gap for a couple of days before heading back home. The economy and a few other factors put that plan on hold though, maybe next year.

I go every year with my local club up here. Its about $700 a person for a week (includes gas, room, food). We stay at the 2 wheel inn on the NC side. They have garages attached to the rooms. I will mostly like time my move back to Texas during this trip.

Well I didn't make it in 2010 to Deals Gap. But it looks like I will be finially moving back the DFW area soon. The wife and I have decided to sell everything and just move without getting a job first. I have been looking and applying for the last year all over Texas with no result, just a bunch of " we will not relocate you, call us when you get here". "Crap" So the house goes on the market in March and we move in June. Hope to see all of you soon.

Im from Hungary and I used to live in England in 2002-03, the Leicestershire area, that time i wasnt real rider just only the ones who was admiring the bikes
Good luck with your move to Forth worth and enjoy the company of the club-they are really helpful bros
