Post by firebladerunner » Thu Mar 10, 2011 1:53 pm

So after visiting this site many times over the past 4 years. I tried to make it to my first moderate ride last Nov. but was a little late thanks to a long debate with a DPS officer over the perception of speed and sportbikes LOL. anyway I got left behind I guess cause there I was sitting at sonic all by my onesy. I live in Bowie so its an hour ride in for me. anyway Ive been riding all my life and have had 4 rockets ; zx7r,cbr954,another 954 and the latest is a 07 cbr 1000rr.

It's a shame you missed the ride. Did you at least win the debate?

I have had that conversation alot... usually win because I act like the redheaded stepchild about to get beat. However the last time I had this conversation it was apparently with an officer that I had the conversation with previously .... He informed me that if there was a 3rd conversation I would have a different paper than a warning to go with it. I was thinking to myself of course (so you mean next time dont pull over?) lol. Of course I will pull over when it happens (and im sure it will because im not gonna slow down).
