Re: HI
well. now that i've finally found a page where i can say howdy, welcome to the boards!
you've found a great crew as u can already tell. yes, it's couple friendly. it's a great place to hang as it's around 7th st and camp bowie. perfectly situated near the stockyards which is about 15 mins away, and TCU same amount of time, so it gives the college kids and other people a great place to go.
what part of f.w. did u grow up in and where did u go to high school? i was born in f.w. then moved to v.a. 'cuz dad was in the NAVAL ACADEMY and then we moved back in '92 to colleyville, then to arlington (went to Oakridge for high school) then to f.w. (attended TCU for undergrad) and then my boyfriend and i moved to cresson 2 years ago and i now to go Tarleton for my masters.
thanks for all you do for our country. you should meet up with CO2 if he'll come out - he's a great guy, but a little more home bound. - I love you jon! you two would hit it off as he's military as well.
hope you have a good week and enjoy the bike night. sadly i have to miss cuz i gotta work, but we'll meet up sometime.
take care.

We are just good people like that!DarcShadow wrote:Ok, first thing you'll have to do is remove those warning labels. ha! Then we're gonna have to do something about those extra reflectors. You'll be amazed at how much better the bike will handle without those. ha!

Very nice. I know where that high school is. and where forest hill is. had family live over there for a while.
and yes, i can see your avatar. too funny.
oh, and if u're late to bike night, no big. they get there any time. they start about 530 or so, sometimes earlier it all depends, and some stay as late as midnight. - 10-12 is the second round for those who work late or have stuff goin on so there'll always be ppl there. have fun.

lived on the southside till 4th grade, and after 5th grade moved out of Forest Hill to about the area you live in now (Sycamore school road, Mc Cart, Alta Mesa area) and ended up going to Wedgewood middle, then Southwest for high school....was a there when they made us change from Rebels to raiders. When did you graduate? I graduated in '92

Jon spends less time at home than you think! He is always out doing something. Unlike most of us on here, Jon has a life outside of FWMR though. He fits in with so many different groups, we are just lucky he has any time to spend with us at all!PinkFiddy wrote:you should meet up with CO2 if he'll come out - he's a great guy, but a little more home bound. - I love you jon! you two would hit it off as he's military as well.
