Looking thru the Faceshield again!!!!!

Post by Fish R1 » Tue May 15, 2012 12:46 pm

Hi Guys and Girls,

I look forward to this opportunity to participate in your organization. I have recently purchased a 2008 YZF-R1 with only 6000 miles. I am looking forward to learning how to ride SAFE, SMART and then FAST!!!!! (IN THAT ORDER) Some of my friends and family say this is a mid life crisis purchase. I like to say it is the pursuit of a hobby!!!! I used to ride 25 years ago and gave it up to become the responsible adult I am suppose to be. Now that is done and AARP is sending me a membership card I would like to attempt to Sport Bike Ride again.

I look forward to meeting everyone at the next bike night event!!!!!!!

Thanks,

EMF

Welcome to the boards. You will find that some of us are a little quirky but goofy looking but we are a group that stresses safety while we ride. We learn from each other and have NO problem giving back our opinions on whatever issue anyone posts up :D Come meet us next bike night (Next thursday, I believe) at the Fox and Hound and keep you eyes posted for any rides that are posted by one of our awesome ride leaders!! Welcome to the mix :D

Attempting to post a picture of my bike. No luck so far. I will try and contact the administrator tomorrow.
Oh yeah the name change is a play on my last name which is Fisher (Fish R1) It sounded good to me at the time.

The Miata is only like half a cage...no roof. Although I did have to install a 4-point roll-bar in my old '97 before being able to track it. OK...I think we've jacked this thread enough. :whip:
